Your Guide to Transformation Through Yoga & Mindful Movement for All Levels
With its roots in Ancient India, Yoga has transformed the lives of many. The word ‘Yoga’ comes from the Sanskrit meaning ‘union’ or ‘to yoke’ and can help us unite mind, body, and breath. Through a dedicated yoga practice, we can increase our physical strength and flexibility, but also improve our emotional wellbeing and mental health.
I began practising yoga when I was experiencing stress at work. Yoga helped me release anxiety and press pause on the busy-ness of life. I’m passionate about sharing the benefits of this ancient practice as it has helped me so much.
I qualified in 2022 in Vinyasa Yoga (200 hours) and have completed further specialist training in other styles of Yoga including Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra. In my sessions, I combine different styles to create a unique flow that will challenge you, relax you, and help you re-connect with yourself.
Experience Release & Relaxation: Personalised Yoga Sessions
At Eastthorpe Hall, I run weekly in-person classes and workshops.
My classes are kept to a small number (six people maximum), so you will not feel lost in a crowd. All equipment needed, including mats and blankets, is provided.
All classes start with an opportunity to ground and arrive by connecting with our breath. Throughout sessions, I offer different options and encourage students to move within their range of movement, listening to their bodies throughout. Flows change each week and I offer a range of gentler through to stronger practices. We always finish with time for stillness and rest in a cosy Savasana (relaxation pose).
I also offer private sessions for those who want to go at their own pace or focus on a particular theme. Previous clients have booked sessions to deepen their practice and focus on alignment, some have wanted to focus on relaxation techniques, and one client wanted to focus on arm balances! So, please do get in touch if you would like to discuss a private session.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope to see you on the mat soon to see how Yoga can help you.
