As I reflect on my four decades in the beauty industry, I am filled with gratitude and pride. My journey began in the vibrant city of Wakefield, where I first discovered my passion for beauty.
In those early days, I was captivated by the transformative power of facial and body treatments, which not only enhance the skin but also relax the mind and create a feeling of wellness. I enrolled in a training school in Nottingham, where I honed my skills and learned the intricacies of beauty techniques. The moment I started learning, I knew I had found my calling.
Throughout my career, I have continued to expand my skills through professional development and by staying abreast of the latest trends. Whether it’s mastering new techniques, exploring innovative products and ingredients, or attending global beauty trade shows, my commitment to excellence has always driven me forward. I’ve also been fortunate to qualify as a teacher, assessor, and examiner, mentoring emerging talent and sharing my knowledge and passion with the next generation of beauty professionals.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been winning three prestigious awards: International Teacher of the Year, Innovative New Business in Online Education, and recognition for 40 years of dedication to the industry. These accolades are a testament to my commitment and the support of my mentors and clients from around the world.
