The Specialist Menopause Clinic
Hello, we are Charlotte & Rebecca, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and British Menopause Society Accredited Menopause Specialists. We provide face to face consultations at Eastthorpe Hall, although video or telephone consultations are available if more appropriate.
We are both experienced practitioners with a passion for women’s health. Specialising in menopause care with the British Menopause Society we have the expertise to provide personalised care to manage all of your menopause issues, from the simplest to the most complex of cases.
PERSONALISED CARE FOR ALL STAGES OF MENOPAUSE
We provide an individualised, holistic approach to all aspects of your menopause care. We offer a private, cosy room and long appointment times, allowing you the time you need to talk, cry, laugh, gain advice and ask as many questions as you need regarding your care, all without the time constraints of the NHS.
We focus on providing you with the tools you need to manage your menopause so that you feel like you again. This may include symptom management, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) or non-hormonal alternatives. We are also able to provide menopause care to women who have more complex issues such as treatment failure, Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Cancers, genetic mutations and complex medical problems

CHARLOTTE – ADVANCED CLINICAL PRACTITIONER AND BMS ACCREDITED MENOPAUSE SPECIALIST
I started my nursing career in 2005, qualifying from the University of Leeds with a BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing. I spent 9 years working in Critical Care before transferring to work as a Practice Nurse in Primary Care, this is where my passion for women’s health started. Watching women suffering with debilitating menopausal symptoms and being denied the support they needed; I was keen to learn more about women’s health and make a difference in the way menopause is managed for so many. To further my career, I completed a MSc in Advanced Practice, allowing me to work as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the GP surgery. This role has allowed me to pursue women’s health further with an emphasis on menopause care. Through further training with the British Menopause Society (BMS), I have completed the BMS Principles and Practice of Menopause Care Certificate and the BMS Management of the Menopause Certificate. I have also completed the BMS Advanced Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Menopause Care, leading to recognition as a BMS Accredited Menopause Specialist.
REBECCA – ADVANCED CLINICAL PRACTITIONER WITH A SPECIAL INTEREST IN MENOPAUSE
My nursing career started in 2005, qualifying from the University of Leeds with BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing. I spent 15 years in hospital-based nursing in both clinical and managerial roles. After starting the MSc in Advanced Practice in 2018 I took the leap into General Practice, Primary Care. Working as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner allowed me to streamline my focus on women’s health and this is where the spark and passion for menopause care was ignited. To develop my skill set further I have completed the British Menopause Society (BMS) Management of the Menopause Certificate and am currently completing The BMS Advanced Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Menopause Care. On completion, I will be a BMS accredited Menopause Specialist.
